Superman Returns

My “Superman Returns” fansite

The trailer is online! Don’t walk, run! has linked to the full Superman Returns trailer on the Apple website. I am downloading it now as fast as my little connection can manage it. My advice? Do it, do it now!

Images from the film revealed – spoiler alert!

200604301620 According to, an ad shown in Australia contained some footage of Superman in a fast action scene:

SupermanVillain posted at The Planet today that he saw a Warner Bros. Movie World/Coca Cola commercial on Fox 8 in Australia. More importantly, he said the ad contained new footage from the film. The footage, for those who’ve read their spoilers, is apparently from a particular high-speed chase Superman engages in. If you don’t mind seeing potentially spoilery images, check them out here. UPDATE: Iris over at has posted up several more images from the commercial, and they’re pretty impressive. Click the link to view the gallery.

It looks a little like the scene from the first movie when Superman saved Air Force One from crashing …

Here is the commercial the stills were taken from … I love the attention to detail – his hair moves as he flies!

Just in time …

Time magazine has published a cool photo of Superman flying really fast.  The image below was apparently the only version available.  It is still really cool, nonetheless.

Full trailer coming soon! has reported that the full length trailer for the movie should be attached to MI:3 and to Poseidon.  MI:3 opens here next weekend and since I missed the theatrical showing of the teaser trailer (my wife saw it when she went to see Nanny McPhee), I am really excited to see the full trailer on the big screen:

SuperheroHype has confirmed today that the theatrical trailer for Superman Returns will be attached to Mission Impossible 3 and Poseidon.

MI:3 comes out next weekend, so make sure you don’t miss out on the most anticipated 2 minutes and 28 seconds of the year!

That is followed up by this announcement, which suggests that television stations will be getting their hands on the Superman Returns trailer soon as well. It’s a great time to be a Superman fan.

My time just has not been my own

Supes downcast.jpgI was really hoping to keep this blog updated. Sadly my other activities have made that pretty difficult. Hopefully I will be able to get back into the swing of things soon. Until then, be sure to visit which is probably one of the best "Superman Returns" resources on the Web at the moment.

I have the feed in my sidebar to the right of this content so feel free to keep coming back here for updates.

I love Superman fans

I came across this beautiful fan on Flickr. If there was going to be a Supergirl movie (well, another one, can she wear a suit like this?

New Superman Returns trailer previewed at ShoWest has reported that the much anticipated “Superman Returns” trailer (not the teaser) has been shown at ShoWest in Las Vegas (the sequel to “Batman Begins” was also announced and we can expect that release in 2008):

“During Warner Bros. Pictures’ presentation, the studio showed three minutes from director Wolfgang Petersen’s Poseidon, 10 minutes from writer-director M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady in the Water, five minutes of the animated Happy Feet and the highly-anticipated new trailer for director Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns. While Singer wasn’t able to make it for today’s event, the reaction to the trailer was great.

Alan Horn, President and COO, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., also announced at the WB event that the Batman Begins sequel will be the studio’s priority franchise release for 2008.”

I am really looking forward to seeing the new trailer!  If the teaser is anything to go by the trailer will be awesome.

Interview with Brandon Routh

There is a great video interview with Brandon Routh and it looks like it was conducted at the recent Golden Globe Awards.  If you want to download the interview, click here.
